The Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre, which provides services to the Indigenous community in Cambridge, says the funding will allow it to connect more people to a primary health care provider
An Indigenous-led health services organization that provides health care for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities across southwestern Ontario, including Cambridge, is getting $1,962,000 from the province to connect over 2,200 people to primary care.
The Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre (SOAHAC), which has operated a clinic on Coronation Boulevard since 2023, operates across London-Middlesex, Waterloo Wellington, and Grey Bruce.
