Adrian Sutherland shows evolution of Indigenous music – North Bay Nugget

Attawapiskat-based songwriter draws on Cree culture for inspiration

And smack dead centre in this transformation is roots-rocker Adrian Sutherland, an Attawapiskat-based singer-songwriter who for my money provides a very interesting window into the evolution of this transformation by sharing his own personal stories and cultural experiences.

Adrian’s second album “Precious Diamonds” is set for release March 15, 2024.
