Applications Now Open for Arts Infrastructure and Programming Fund

Press Release

April 22, 2025

Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 Arts Infrastructure and Programming Fund.

This fund was introduced during the Year of the Arts to enhance arts infrastructure and support community arts activities in hopes of increasing engagement and participation in cultural activity. The program was tremendously popular and, as announced in Budget 2025, $2 million is being provided to continue the program this year.

Arts organizations are eligible to apply for infrastructure updates which support artistic creation and presentation, as well as accessibility improvements for venues and facilities. Both arts and community organizations are eligible to apply for arts programming funding.

To date, the Arts Infrastructure and Programming Fund has awarded over $2 million to 84 projects, resulting in much needed improvements to our cultural facilities and programs.

Those interested in applying for Arts Infrastructure and Programming funding are encouraged to review the program guidelines to determine eligibility.

Quote
“When we launched the Arts Infrastructure and Programming Fund in 2024, it was in response to feedback from the arts and cultural sector that this type of funding was desperately needed. The success of the program thus far speaks for itself and I am proud that our government is looking to continue the program through Budget 2025. I encourage arts and community organizations to review the eligibility guidelines and consider submitting their applications.”
Honourable Steve Crocker
Minister of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation
