Brampton and Mississauga teachers earn Prime Minister’s Awards – Mississauga

The award honours excellence in teaching and preparing young students for a digital economy

The Prime Minister’s Awards for Teaching Excellence and Teaching Excellence in STEM have recognized exceptional elementary and secondary school teachers in all disciplines since 1994, with over 1,800 teachers honoured to date.

Teaching Excellence Awards recipients are honoured for their remarkable achievements in education and for their commitment to preparing youth for a digital and innovation-based economy. This year, there were three winners from Mississauga and Brampton.

Benjamin Smith, Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence, Chinguacousy Secondary School, Brampton
