Businesses donate $30K to YK Salvation Army food bank – Cabin Radio

Tony Brushett, executive director of the Yellowknife Salvation Army, says a recent donation will “help several hundred families” this holiday season.

De Beers Group and the Gahcho Kué mine donated $30,000 to the organization’s food bank on Tuesday with help from business partners Arctic West Transport, Khione Resources, Acasta Heliflight, Cando Rail, Epiroc, Orica and KAG/RTL Construction,
