Call for medical practitioners to serve on the Medical Board of Inquiry

The Department of Health is seeking two medical practitioners to serve as members of the Medical Board of Inquiry for a two-year term.

One medical practitioner must be registered under the Nunavut Medical Profession Act and the other must be registered under a provincial medical regulatory authority.

The Board of Inquiry runs independently and is mandated by the Medical Profession Act to review submissions and evidence related to allegations made against medical practitioners licensed in Nunavut. The Board of Inquiry may require several preliminary meetings to establish a rule of order and preliminary work.

An honorarium is paid as per Directive 810, GN Financial Administration Manual.
