FANS proof of enrollment for spring/summer semester

A reminder to Financial Assistance for Nunavut Students (FANS) recipients to submit proof of enrollment for your spring/summer semester. Proof of enrollment is required to continue receiving payments and to receive your spring/summer tuition funds at the start of your semester.

Students who are studying at an institution other than Nunavut Arctic College (NAC) are required to submit their FANS Student Enrollment Form (SEF) to the FANS office.

Students studying at NAC must submit an Enrollment Verification (EV) form. The EV form, along with instructional guides, can be accessed from the Student Self-Service Portal.

SEFs and EVs can be emailed to:

  • FANS@gov.nu.ca (Inuit enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement), or
  • FANSLoans@gov.nu.ca (students not enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement).

If you submit your SEF or EV and then decide that you do not want to return for the spring semester, you MUST contact FANS as soon as possible to cancel your spring funding. Failure to do so may result in owing funds back to FANS.
