2013 FNFC Fall Assembly
“Capitalizing on our Collective Knowledge: Getting to a Good Place in a Good Way”
The First Nations Fisheries Council will be hosting our Annual General Assembly on November 13-15, 2013 at the Squiala First Nation. Our co-hosts this year will be the Lower Fraser Fisheries Alliance (LFFA).
November 13-14, 2013 – Tier 2 (First Nations and DFO)
November 15, 2013 – Tier 1 (First Nations only)

REGISTRATION: Pre-registration for the assembly is now closed. Participants who have not registered can still attend, but must register on arrival, and will receive an electronic version of the meeting materials on a USB drive.
BANQUET: Our co-hosts, the Fraser Valley Region, will be hosting a banquet on Day 1 of the Assembly (November 13, 2013 at 6:00pm, at the Squiala Gym). There will be a performance by the Sasquatch Dancers from Sts’ailes Band. When you register, please let the staff know whether you will be attending the banquet.
ACCOMMODATIONS: A block of rooms was reserved at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Chilliwack at a special rate of $104+tax per night. The room block expired on November 5, but participants can call the hotel at 604-392-4667 to see if rooms and preferred rates are still available. The group code is “SFN”.
TRAVEL SUBSIDIES: The deadline for travel subsidies was October 25, 2013. Please note that those who have applied for travel subsidies must submit claim forms and original receipts following the assembly in order to receive reimbursement.
