Gig Pick: Minoshkite Indigenous Music & Arts Festival—Nov. 13 and 14 at the Bronson Centre – Apartment613

November 11, 2025

The Minoshkite Indigenous Music & Arts Festival is returning for a third year and has expanded to take place over two nights: Nov. 13 and 14. The event is presented by the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund (DWF), Red Music Rising (RMR) and Canada’s Music Incubator (CMI).

Minoshkite — which translates to “music to the ears” in Algonquin — brings together celebrated Indigenous artists from across Canada. The event will celebrate Indigenous artistry, culture, and resilience through live performances, educational programming, and community connection.

Thursday night features Amanda Rheaume, Mimi O’Bonsawin, Aspects, and Qattuu. On Friday, Reuben and the Bullhorn Singers, Sebastian Gaskin, Drives the Common Man, and Siibii take the stage. Theland Kicknosway, an Anishinaabe and Cree hoop dancer, speaker, and storyteller, will host both nights.
