The Department of Culture and Heritage invites Taloyoak residents to a public presentation about accessing funding through its Grants and Contributions program on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the Community Hall at 7:00 p.m.
Every year, the Department of Culture and Heritage provides funding for community-led projects and initiatives in the following areas:
Preserving and promoting Nunavut’s cultural legacy.
Support for Elders and youth activities.
Maintaining and sharing Inuit societal values.
Language promotion, protection, and preservation.
This presentation is free and open to all members of the public. Inuktitut interpretation will be available, and refreshments will be provided. Culture and Heritage staff members will share information and answer questions about the programs.
