Health Equity Project Manager

The purpose of the Health Equity Project Manager is to facilitate, coordinate and provide technical and policy support to the Assistant Director and their colleagues within Social and Cultural Development, Health division. The Health Equity Project Manager will coordinate the budget planning and project management of Health Equity Funding for Nunavut. These initiatives require advanced and thorough planning. The Health Equity Project Manager will work closely with various staff within SCD on developing policy positions and recommendations that reflect the health needs of Inuit and provide support to enhance advocacy initiatives related to advancing health equity for Inuit in Nunavut.

  • Excellent Inuktut and English oral and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.

Preference will be given to Inuit enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement.

Starting salary is $121,120.00 per annum (commensurate with experience) a comprehensive benefit package including an employee pension plan, group insurance and vacation travel assistance.

Housing allowance of $35,232.00
