How to watch Canadian Medical Association’s public apology to Indigenous communities – St. Catharines Standard

The live broadcast will happen Wednesday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. eastern time.

The Canadian Medical Association announced it will publicly apologize for its role and the role of the medical profession in the past and ongoing harms to First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples in the Canadian health system.

The apology is taking place Wednesday, Sept. 18 and it will be livestreamed for everyone to see.

The ceremony will be held in Victoria on the traditional territory of the lək̓ʷəŋiʔnəŋ speaking people of Songhees and Xwsepsum Nations.
