Indigenous agency social aims to empower with knowledge – Niagara This Week

The June 23 event at The Exchange features 19 community organizations.
It’s being called a Gathering of the Good Minds, and it’s an opportunity for members of Niagara’s Indigenous communities — and the agencies and organizations that support them — to come together and learn a bit more about each other.
On Sunday, representatives from 19 agencies offering services to the community will be at The Exchange in Niagara Falls for the Haudenosaunee social.
Taking place from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the event will feature drumming, singing and a cultural presentation from Aboriginal Head Start, which provides early education for children aged three to five.
