Indigenous housing project under construction on Penticton’s Main Street – Keremeos Review

Four years after it was first brought before city council, an Indigenous focused affordable housing project is underway in Penticton.

Construction recently began on the M’akola Housing Society’s 28-unit project at 603 Main Street.

The project, according to the society’s website, is aimed to be ready for occupancy by spring of 2026.

It will offer a mix of one, two and three-bedroom residential units.
