Jeff Morris selected as new Director of Kahnawà:ke Labor Office

(Kahnawake – 5, Enníska/February 2024) The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) is pleased to inform the community that Jeff Morris has been selected as the successful candidate for the position of Director of Kahnawà:ke Labor Office (KLO).

Jeff is a fourth-generation ironworker and has spent most of his life in the construction industry, mainly as an ironworker out of Local 40 in New York City.

“I’m excited for him to lead the KLO team moving forward; Jeff comes with years of on-the-ground experience and a sound understanding of the direction Kahnawà:ke needs to take regarding labor jurisdiction,” said Alan John Rice, Executive Operations Officer.

Working on some of the largest projects in North America, Jeff has experience in every aspect of the labor industry, from leadership to safety standards, insurance claims, and training.

Mr. Morris officially began work as Director today, February 5, 2024.
