Land Use Plan: Notice of Consultation and 60-Day Comment Period

Following two years of staff work and consultation with a diverse range of stakeholders, communities, customers, First Nations and municipalities, we are pleased to announce the final phase of consultation on Port Metro Vancouver’s Land Use Plan update.
The public consultation period began on February 10 and runs through to April 13, 2014. All consultation materials are posted online at Port Talk. These include:
- Draft Land Use Plan
- NEW: Interactive Designation Map
- Discussion Guide
- Feedback Form
- Discussion Sessions and Webinars
The purpose of the consultation is to seek feedback on:
- The full draft Land Use Plan;
- Updated land and water designations in each of seven planning areas;
- Implementation measures that will help to ensure the Plan remains relevant and to track progress in achieving the established objectives.
