In the matter of the November 21, 2023 Election of the following offices, these Candidates are declared elected by acclamation:

TO THE OFFICE OF OFFICE OF TRUSTEE

ANGUS, DANELLA LINDSEY

GIRBAV, LISA

MORHART, CORINNA ANNETTE

This Office is elected by Acclamation.

Under section 10.5 of the Lax Kw’alaams Indian Band Settlement Trust Agreement, Council may appoint a Trustee to fill the vacant positions. Any Trustee so appointed will hold a temporary office of 2 years, after which Council shall call for a by-election to fill the position for the remainder of the vacant term.

PLEASE NOTE that these activities were undertaken to ensure that Electors were informed about the
nomination and election processes specific to the election regulations:

1. Has mailed a notice of the nomination process to all members who had provided an up-to-date address to the nation.
2. All relevant election related materials, forms, and Notices were posted on the OneFeather website for electors to access. The specific website address was prominently placed on all Notices.
3. All relevant election related materials, forms, and Notices were also posted on the Lax Kw’alaams public website to access at any time.
