In part with Saskatchewan Aboriginal Storytelling Month, Lyndon Linklater will teach participants about cultural awareness and positive race relations with a Treaty and First Nation worldview on February 1, 2024.
The event will take place at the Humboldt and District Gallery on February 1 at 6:30 pm. The Reid-Thompson Public Library has partnered with the Gallery to bring Linklater to Humboldt for the event.
Linklater is a traditional knowledge keeper and storyteller and has an educational background in Indian Social Work, Indian Studies, and some law.
“He is a powerful storyteller that utilizes First Nation teaching that involves knowledge of ceremonies and mixes humor to deliver a poignant message,” stated the library in a release.
