Algoma District School Board shares $1M in funding from Indigo Love of Reading Foundation
It was announced today that Algoma District School Board (ADSB) will receive a portion of $1 million in funding from the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation.
ADSB will use the $110,000 grant for new library books and Indigenous student resources.
“The Indigo Love of Reading Foundation (ILOR) celebrates donating $1,000,000 to 30+ schools across the country, impacting 10,000 students and reaching more First Nations on-reserve schools than ever before,” says a news release issued by ILOR. “This year, 11 Ontario schools will receive grant funding to dramatically increase their library budgets, ensuring new books and resources are available to thousands of students and creating access to current literature in all schools.”
