Today, Premier Wab Kinew released eight mandate letters that were provided to newly sworn-in members of the executive council, outlining the immediate priorities and key commitments of their ministries, as they work together to strengthen Manitoba’s economy.
“Manitobans have given us a mandate to grow our economy with good family-supporting jobs and a balanced budget,” said Kinew. “These eight mandate letters lay out the path to a stronger economy with better health care and social services. I have directed each of the ministers to work together to build a healthy and prosperous future for our province.”
Each mandate letter provides a strong foundation and clear directives to support ministers as they work collaboratively with the public service, Indigenous governments, organizations and communities, and stakeholders throughout the province to strengthen Manitoba’s economy, the premier noted.
