Membertou Newsletter September 1, 2023 – Membertou First Nation

The 2023 Summer Games took place in Millbrook First Nation from August 20th to the 27th, with around 80 athletes participating from our community.

In total, Membertou received 68 medals – 35 gold, 25 silver, and 7 bronze Congratulations to everyone involved!

Our community came together on social media sharing amazing photo capturing important memories of the games of athletes and their teammate: We thus created several collage pages highlighting our community accomplishments. We were unable to share everyone’s photos, however, w will feature all photo submissions on our social media pages. We want t thank everyone who sent pictures.

We can’t wait to welcome the Summer Games back to Membertou in 2024
