November 6, 2024: SURREY, BC – Métis Nation British Columbia has retracted statements made by the previous Board of Directors against President David Chartrand and the Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF). This retraction represents a new way forward for both our governments as we seek to reset our relationship. We are turning the page. We are breaking with the past and we are rectifying a problem that should not have been created in the first place. It is in the best interest of all our Citizens and Métis across the homeland.
