It’s already June, and the school year will soon be drawing to a close. I would like to take this opportunity to warmly thank all teaching and school staff for their exceptional dedication throughout the year. Many thanks to all those who contribute in any way
to the educational success of our students.

I encourage you all to celebrate National Indigenous History Month and National Indigenous Peoples’ Day this June 21st. Take the time to celebrate and honour our heritage, culture,
languages, knowledge, and traditions.

Work on implementing the Regional Education Agreement continues apace. In March, the FNEC team invited the finance and education directors of our member schools to an information session on the financial aspects of the Agreement. It was an opportunity to discuss commitments and responsibilities, accountability, and funding for 2024-2025.
