Newsletter: LNG Canada shipment weeks away. And much more… – First Nations Natural Gas Alliance

There was much interest in our latest update on LNG in BC, which noted that LNG Canada’s $40-billion plant will soon ship its first export cargo. The destination has not yet been named, but the plant is in final testing stages.

We also updated our 32,619 followers on social media on progress on four other LNG projects in BC: Woodfibre LNG, Cedar LNG, Ksi Lisims LNG, and FortisBC’s expansion of its Tilbury LNG plant and plans for a marine LNG dock on the Fraser River.

Cedar LNG is one of two BC projects with majority First Nations ownership. The Haisla Nation has begun preliminary construction of their floating LNG plant in their traditional territory and waters.
