Niagara Falls to glow orange for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – PelhamToday.ca
Residents of Niagara are invited to take part in a special Orange Shirt Day event that includes a commemorative walk along the scenic Parkway followed by an educational program led by Indigenous scholar Dr. Josh Manitowabi
Niagara Parks is pleased to partner with the Niagara Catholic District School Board to host a walk in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day) on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
Following the walk, there will be a program at Oakes Garden Theatre featuring Dr. Josh Manitowabi, Assistant Professor of Indigenous History at Brock University, who will share insights on the significance of Truth and Reconciliation and Indigenous History.
