Nitsénhaienhs to meet with NBA Canada Representatives

(Kahnawake – 15, Kentenhkó:wa/November 2023) The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to inform the community that Nitsénhaienhs Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer and Harry Rice will be meeting with representatives of the National Basketball Association of Canada (NBA Canada) to discuss the potential for collaborations on youth initiatives in the community, tying into truth and reconciliation initiatives.

The meeting will be taking place at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto during tonight’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Sky-Deer will be flying back early Thursday to attend other meetings, and Rice will be back in the office on Friday.
