Ottawa police seek help locating a missing 36-year-old Inuk woman – Nunatsiaq News

The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s help to find a missing 36-year-old woman.

Susan Tagak, who was born in Iqaluit, was last seen Feb. 5 in downtown Ottawa. Police and her family are concerned for her well-being, Ottawa police said in a press release on Friday.

The family first contacted the Ottawa Police about two weeks ago, Susan’s father, John Tagak, said in a phone call on Monday.

“I had heard from some people that the police did contact them, so they were following whatever leads they had,” Tagak said.
