Québec’s cultural spring is making a strong mark across Northern Europe!
Concerts, festivals, artist residencies, and new partnerships all take centre stage in this latest edition of Québec Culture.
SPRING FORWARD!
In this issue, explore the richness of Québec’s cultural offering throughout the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics. At the heart of the season is Québec Spring, back with an exciting lineup of emerging artists featured at FOCUS Wales and The Great Escape. Presented by M for Montréal, these showcases offer Québec artists high visibility with both audiences and music industry professionals.
CREATIVITY THAT CONNECTS
Also in this edition, discover three new cooperation projects recently selected as part of the annual Québec–Nordic Council of Ministers joint call. These projects span dance, heritage, and museology, reflecting the dynamic transatlantic creative ties that continue to grow between our regions.
Looking ahead, the spotlight will shine bright on Québec at Showcase Scotland in 2026, as part of Glasgow’s Celtic Connections festival. Six traditional music groups from Québec will be featured—highlighting a rich and evolving musical heritage shaped by French, British, and Indigenous influences.
“The arts and culture have a unique way of bringing people together. I am always amazed at how these connections grow into meaningful and lasting collaborations.” – Line Rivard, Agent-General, Québec Government Office in London
