Bank gives $26,000 to development agency to help in videoconferencing initiative
MEMBERTOU — If video conferencing can be used in the fields of education and health care, it can be used in entrepreneurial training.
And if a major Canadian bank comes up with a $26,000 donation to kick-start the deal, it’s all good.
“We’re always reaching out to business for opportunities,” said Owen Fitzgerald, executive director of the Mi’kmaq Economic Benefits Office of Nova Scotia.
