Arrest warrants remain outstanding for 2 others
Two more people have been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into a drug-trafficking network in Bunibonibee Cree Nation, and more are expected, RCMP say.
The investigation, known as Project Derry, was launched in June by RCMP and supported by First Nation safety officers in the Manitoba community about 575 kilometres north of Winnipeg.
A total of 27 people were charged in December as a result of the investigation. Of those, 23 were arrested while warrants were issued for the other four who were still being sought.
