This camp gives young performers a unique opportunity to jump into the world of big musicals and discover the magic of bringing them to life on stage

The Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy is thrilled to announce that registration for March Break Broadway Boot Camp is now open! This camp gives young performers a unique opportunity to jump into the world of big musicals and discover the magic of bringing them to life on stage. This week-long enriching experience will take place March 10 to March 14 at the Hamilton Family Theatre in Cambridge.

The Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy Director of Education and Associate Artistic Director is David Connolly. David is the first amputee to perform on Broadway and the Director/Choreographer of Drayton Entertainment productions of Priscilla, The Prom, Mamma Mia!, Newsies, and many more. “In our ongoing effort to dismantle the financial, cultural, physical, and geographic barriers that have traditionally existed in arts education, we’re thrilled to be offering our March Break experience in five locations for the first time,” says Connolly. “Also, we announced on September 30th, 2024, National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, that all interested Indigenous Youth under the age of 18 will receive free tuition to all Youth Academy training programs. At our Academy, everyone belongs,” he added. March Break Broadway Boot Camps will take place in Cambridge, Drayton, Grand Bend, Penetanguishene, and Waterloo.
