Request for Proposal of Chief Returning Officer

The Kivalliq Inuit Association is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the provision of services by a Proponent or Contractor for the Position of Chief Returning Officer (CRO) for the Kivalliq Inuit Association (referred to in this RFP as “KIA”).

This RFP is issued in accordance with the KIA Election Policy for the selection of a Chief Returning Officer who will supervise and direct the administration of the 2023 KIA Election, which is tentatively scheduled for December of 2023.

The Chief Returning Officer represents a key operational role of the KIA election and corporate governance, the exercises general direction and supervision over the administrative conduct of the election, enforces fairness, impartiality and compliance with the KIVALLIQ INUIT ASSOCIATION ELECTION POLICY as well as responsible for all pre-election and post-election responsibilities.
