The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Region 5 is thrilled to announce its upcoming Sudbury Tradeshow, a two-day event taking place on February 10 and 11 at the USW Local 6500 on 66 Brady Street. The tradeshow will feature an array of talented Métis artisans, crafters, and small businesses from across the region, providing a unique opportunity for the community to support local entrepreneurs.
The event, open from 9 am to 5 pm, will host just under 20 booths showcasing innovative products and services. The tradeshow is a celebration of creativity, unity, and resilience within the Métis community. Representatives from Sudbury, North Bay, and Mattawa Métis Councils will be present as they fall under the umbrella of Region 5.
“Hosting this tradeshow is a great opportunity for our community,” said MNO Region 5 Regional Councillor, Roger Rose. “It’s a celebration of innovation and collaboration, showcasing exceptional talents while highlighting the enduring spirit of unity and resilience integral to what it means to be Métis.”

Attendees can explore a diverse range of handmade items, including art, jewelry, clothing, and decor, with a chance to win exciting door prizes. This year, Charming Hook by Danika, Brother Bear Beadz and Skruffy Kanoe will be at the crafts table, providing attendees with a special opportunity to witness the creative process and find one-of-a-kind pieces.
Members of the media and the community are invited to attend to show support for local Métis businesses, creatives and entrepreneurs.
