It’s a day to honour Indigenous children who never returned home and survivors of residential schools.
Aamjiwnaang First Nation will recognize National Truth and Reconciliation Day with a gathering Thursday evening.
The event, which also aims to raise awareness, includes a dinner, cultural teachings, crafts and a scavenger hunt.
It’s at the Maawn Doosh Gumig Pavillion from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is Monday, September 30.
