Unique Indigenous fashion event set for North Shuswap next month – CFJC Today

CHASE, B.C. — Indigenous fashion designers from across the province will get the spotlight at a unique event in the North Shuswap next month.

The 2022 Indigenous Voices in Fashion show will showcase six Indigenous designers, June 4 at Quaaout Lodge and Talking Rock Resort.

Organizer Kim Coltman says the event will be centred around an outdoor fashion show under the trees, but will also include an indoor artisan market and VIP after-party.

“At every level of this event, Indigenous artists, businesses, and entrepreneurs are placed at the forefront of this special event,” said Coltman in a news release.
