University Of Lethbridge Attracts Indigenous Future Students – Bridge City News

University of Lethbridge held its second annual Iniskim Future Students Day to designed to break barriers and open pathways to success for Indigenous students. Beth Grier, Indigenous Recruitment Officer, University of Lethbridge explains the purpose of holding events like this and shares the special programs the university offers for Indigenous students. University of Lethbridge’s Blackfoot name is Iniskim, meaning Sacred Buffalo Stone, gifted by Elder Bruce Wolf Child in 2002.
