HSC opens new relaxation space for mental health patients
A brand-new play space was opened on Nov. 26 in the child and adolescent mental health unit at Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg.
The indoor space, funded by a donation of $250,000 from Manitoba’s Credit Unions, features an open-concept design to accommodate a variety of activities, all encouraging the mental well-being of young patients and welcoming healthy distraction.
