Dec. 10: Weave dreamcatchers for the winter solstice
Join Algonquin Métis visual artist and educator Diane Montreuil for a creative afternoon workshop at the Tommy Thompson Nature Centre (475 Unwin Ave.). Attendees will learn how to make a dreamcatcher, crafted from soft hide, sinew, wood, beads and feathers.
Dec. 12: Take in some Charlie Brown jazz
Head to the Paradise Theatre (1006c Bloor St. W.) for a concert with Toronto pianist and composer Thompson T. Egbo-Egbo as he plays the beloved Charlie Brown Christmas music. Bonus: the show is lit by candles for optimal holiday cosiness.
Dec. 15 to 16: Enjoy “The Muppet Christmas Christmas Carol” with live music
