2015 Aboriginal Athlete, Coach and Volunteer Award Nominations

Each year, the Manitoba Aboriginal Sports and Recreation Council awards athlete, coach and volunteer honours to deserving Aboriginal individuals. These awards recognize the skills and abilities of our exceptional males and females in our communities from all across the province.

Manitoba’s male and female “Aboriginal Athlete of the Year” as well as the male and female “Aboriginal Volunteer of the Year” Award winners are recognized at the “Sport for Life” Gala, the annual awards ceremony held by Sport Manitoba each year in April.

Manitoba’s male and female Aboriginal Coaching Award winners are recognized at the Annual “Excellence Awards” brunch held in April each year that is hosted by Coaching Manitoba.
