Investing in the Northwest Territories
August 6, 2014, 2014 – Norman Wells, Northwest Territories – Transport Canada
The Honourable Lisa Raitt, Minister of Transport, today announced that the Government of Canada is investing $1,479,428 for rehabilitation of runway lighting at the Norman Wells Airport.
These improvements will provide for continued airfield visibility and safe runways for flight crews, passengers, and airport employees.
Funding for this work comes from Transport Canada’s Airports Capital Assistance Program (ACAP).
