Outreach for the NIHB Joint Review: Eye and Vision Care

The AFN is currently examining the eye and vision care benefit to increase access to the benefit area. A report is forthcoming, which will include an overview of the of the status of eye and vision health within the First Nations population, a review and synthesis of all existing internal documents relevant to the eye and vision care benefit, as well as engagement from client and community members via outreach online survey.
The NIHB Joint Review Steering Committee wants to provide as many opportunities for input as possible from First Nations individuals and communities, health care professionals and service providers alike. Currently, we have made available three mechanisms to garner input. First Nations Client and Community Members can complete the below Eye and Vision Care Survey until July 10th 2016; Service Providers can complete the below Eye and Vision Care Survey until June 30th 2016.
