The RCMP Southeast District (SED) Major Crimes Unit (MCU) is now assisting the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP with the investigation of missing person Caitlin Brandy Potts. Caitlin was reported missing to the Enderby RCMP on March 1st, 2016.

RCMP investigators with the SED MCU are actively investigating the disappearance of Caitlin Brandy Potts. Caitlin was last in contact with her family and friends on February 22nd, 2016, and in turn reported missing to the Enderby RCMP on March 1st, 2016.

All missing person cases are treated as high priority investigations. In Caitlin’s case, the assistance of the SED MCU at this point, is reflective of our commitment to fully determine her current whereabouts and what has occurred to date, stated Cpl Dan Moskaluk

Although the SED MCU is currently engaged in these recent cases of two North Okanagan missing women, there are no indications at this time leading investigators to believe that the two matters are linked in any way. The involvement of foul play in regards to Caitlin case has not been eliminated, added Cpl Dan Moskaluk
