Follow-up consultations on new Corrections Act

The Government of Nunavut is holding follow-up public consultations on a new, made-in- Nunavut Corrections Act.

The new legislation will take into consideration the unique needs of Nunavummiut and the need for the safe reintegration of inmates into their home communities.

Followup consultations are being held in the following communities:

• Cape Dorset on Tuesday, October 25, at the community hall at 7 p.m.
• Iqaluit on Thursday, November 3, at the Elders Qammaq at 7 p.m.
