Inverness District RCMP searches home, seizes drugs

The Street Crime Enforcement Unit of Inverness District RCMP searched a home in Waycobah on February 16, ollowing an investigation. This resulted in the seizure of quantities of marihuana products and oxycodone pills.

Brett Albert Waters, 24, and Patricia Bernard, 41, of Waycobah First Nation, were arrested following the search. They were released later that day and have both been charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. They are scheduled to attend Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court on March 27.

The investigation is ongoing.
