Whale Tail IIBA Signing Ceremony
Baker Lake, June 15
June 8, 2017 — The Kivalliq Inuit Association and Agnico Eagle Mines would like to invite the community of Baker Lake to attend a Whale Tail IIBA Signing Ceremony in Baker Lake on June 15, 2017.
This event will include the formal signing of an Inuit Impact and Benefits Agreement for the Whale Tail Project located near the Meadowbank Mine.
The singing ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM at the Community Hall and be followed by a Community Feast and Square Dance.
