Call for Submissions: Manitoba Music Trade Mission to Denver | Deadline: July 28

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 4PM, Friday, July 28, 2017

Manitoba Music is participating in a trade mission to Denver, Colorado, November 8-11, 2017. This is an opportunity for one Manitoba artist to perform for and connect with key music industry professionals, local promoters, festivals and venues in the Denver and Fort Collins area. This project is in partnership with the other Western Canadian music industry associations and FACTOR. Manitoba Music will work directly with the selected artist to meet and connect with members of the industry. Some financial support will be available.

Artists considered for this opportunity must:

• Have a current or upcoming release (demo / EP / full-length)
• Be export-ready (able to capitalize on opportunities in Canada and internationally)
• Be available to travel to Denver from November 8-11, 2017
• Be a Manitoba Music member and a current resident of Manitoba
• Be 18 years of age or older

To submit:

• Fill out the submissions form manitobamusic.com/submissions
• Update your Manitoba Music profile with:
  • Current music (up to three mp3s)
  • Current high resolution image (300 dpi) uploaded to “Files” section
  • Current bio
  • Current video
  • Links to social media
• Update your Business Profile at manitobamusic.com/members/business-profile (must be logged in)​

Submissions will be evaluated based on:

• Music
• Track record
• Strength of team
• Export readiness
• Rationale for the showcase
