Manitoba Music is presenting a showcase in Toronto on October 23, 2018. This showcase is an opportunity to perform for and network with key Toronto music industry professionals including labels, agents, publishers, supervisors, publicists and more.
For several years, Manitoba Music has presented this fall event as an opportunity to showcase Manitoba talent in the music industry mecca without the competing schedule demands of a major festival. Manitoba Music will work directly with each selected artist to identify members of the industry they wish to invite. The showcase will be an early evening show, for industry professionals and open to public.
Artists considered for this opportunity must:
- Have a current or upcoming release (demo / EP / full-length)
- Be export-ready (able to capitalize on opportunities in Canada and internationally)
- Be available to perform in Toronto the week of October 23, 2018
- Be a Manitoba Music member and a current resident of Manitoba
To submit:
- Fill out the submissions form manitobamusic.com/submissions
- Update your Manitoba Music profile with:
- Current music (up to three mp3s – may be selected for Manitoba Music’s streaming playlists)
- Current high resolution image (300 dpi) uploaded to “Files” section
- Update your Business Profile at manitobamusic.com/members/business-profile (must be logged in)
Submissions will be evaluated based on:
- Music
- Track record
- Strength of team
- Export readiness
- Rationale for the showcase
