(Fort McMurray, AB – May 5, 2020) – The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) will host flood recovery virtual community townhalls every Thursday in May at 6:10 p.m. to provide an update on the recovery efforts and to answer questions.
Residents can participate in the townhall virtually using the public live stream. Some residents will receive a call connecting them to the townhall. If you do not receive a call at 6:10 p.m. and you are unable to connect via the live stream link, please call 1-800-214-2540 or email townhall@rmwb.ca for instructions on how to connect.

· Jamie Doyle, Chief Administrative Officer, Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo
· Other government and agency representatives

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel. The live stream participants will be able to ask a question by typing into a field. The on-call participants must press *3 to ask a question. At this point, they will be directed to a moderator who will take the question and put it in queue.
