AFAC President Michelle Vandevord announcing 2021 National Firefighting Competition Winners
AFAC Vice President, Anthony Moore announces the 2021 AFAC National Firefighting Competition Winners
This year, AFAC hosted a virtual National Firefighting Competition (NFC). This decision was in support of the ongoing fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
To compete, registered teams were required to complete two components — one member of each team had to attend one (1) AFAC/NIFSC-led workshop on how to effectively deliver fire prevention/public education, and (2) the teams were required to create a public education video based on one of the provided themes.
This year’s winning teams are as follows:
On behalf of all of us at AFAC and the NIFSC, thank you for participating in this year’s competition. You should all be very proud of the work you do. We look forward to next year’s event and we hope that you and your families stay safe.
