Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation, Treaty 6 Territory, Alberta — Please be advised that Chief Tony Alexis and Council of Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation, and Patty Hajdu, Minister of Indigenous Services, will celebrate the official opening of a new school located on Alexis Nakota. Transformational for Alexis Nakota, the school provides traditional and contemporary education for grades 5-12.
